That time of year that we all dread is coming faster than we think. School supplies is starting to fill empty shelves at our local stores and the days are getting shorter and shorter- indicating that summer is almost over. But before we break out our sweaters- we still have one month to go. So if you have been debating what to do for the rest of the summer, look no further! Here are some great activities to add to your summer bucket list! Movies are the perfect nighttime activity, but what if we step it up a notch? Try seeing a movie outdoors in your local area. It’s fun for all ages, and allows you to enjoy those warm summer nights. Grab and blanket and of course don’t forget the popcorn! Our skin goes through a lot of turmoil during the summer. We bake in the sun and drown ourselves in chlorine, neither of which is good for our body. And who wants dried out skin? Especially those who are getting ready for their summer weddings! Give your skin a break and head to the spa for the day! It’s a great way to beat the heat and replenish your skin. It will make you feel better knowing you saved yourself from a wrinkle or two! Need some fuel for this activity? Try dipping strawberries in chocolate; it’s a perfect way to end your spa day! Summer is the perfect time to take a break from reality! Head to one of your local art museums for the day! Learn about other cultures and immerse yourself in some beautiful artwork. It’s a great way to stay relaxed, and fun for everyone. Need a snack on the go? Turkey roll ups are easy and small to carry and keep you feeling fuller longer so you can spend more time focusing on the artwork and not your growling stomach! Turkey Roll up recipe! ~ Perfect for any time of the day, whether your having a summer picnic, or leaving at the beach- this is a great appetizer to bring on the go (that won’t cause mess).
